Wire 3 Announces Holly Hill, Port Orange to become next 10 Gig Cities as part of $100 Million Dollar Investment in Volusia County

May 26, 2022 Daytona Beach, FL – Wire 3 Holdings, Inc (“Wire 3”) an all-fiber, 10 Gigabit Internet Service Provider (ISP), announced today that following their launch in February in New Smyrna Beach, their expanding presence will look to Holly Hill next, followed by Port Orange. This expansion marks the company’s next steps in a planned investment of over $100 million in the digital infrastructure of Volusia County.

“We’re not just building a new fiber optic network, we’re investing in these communities and dedicating ourselves to deliver on our promise of a better internet experience for area residents,” said Jai Ramachandran, chief executive officer of Wire 3. “Holly Hill and Port Orange will be 10 gig cities starting this year.”

Already serving their first customers in New Smyrna Beach, Wire 3’s network approach allows them the ability to move quickly, optimizing their offering for communities, and backed by local customer service.

“We were excited to be the inaugural city for Wire 3’s deployment,” says New Smyrna Beach Mayor Russell Owen. “A focus of mine has been to partner with companies that not only want to do business in our community, but truly want to be a part of our community. In addition to the sizable investment they are making to improve the digital infrastructure in our area, Wire 3 has already shown their commitment to giving back in the community and a dedication to provide a positive customer experience for the residents of New Smyrna Beach.”

“Whether you’re cutting the cord to stream your entertainment, working from home in need of more stable teleconferencing, or simply searching for a provider that actually cares about your experience, Wire 3 is the clear choice,” said Jason Schreiber, chief technology officer of Wire 3.

“Team Volusia EDC is pleased to welcome Wire 3!” says Keith Norden, CEO & president. “Expanding the technological infrastructure in our community helps elevate connectivity and further strengthens the appeal of Volusia County for current and future residents and businesses.”

“We’re very excited to have another Internet service provider in Volusia County,” said County Manager George Recktenwald. “Increasing the availability of high-speed broadband across the county will enhance the capacity of our residents to satisfy their online needs in critical areas such as education and commerce.”

Prospective customers can pre-register on the Wire 3 check availability form to be alerted when construction begins in their area and lock in early adopter pricing.
