Why is digging in the public right of way necessary?
Digging in some areas may require removing sod to prepare for conduit and vault placements. You may see “tails” of conduit sticking out of the ground at various locations. Next, construction cable storage vaults will be installed flush with the ground, serving as connection points for fiber internet. The fiber lines are placed in the ground where it will soon be spliced. When necessary, we are committed to repairing and restoring disrupted surfaces once construction is done.
How will you know when construction begins?
Keep an eye out for mailers, door hangers, and yard signs keeping you up-to-date on the progress of fiber internet installations and availability to your address.
